Quality Fund Data +  Strong Fund Software

Since 1989, Investors FastTrack has been dedicated to the proposition that not all mutual fund data and mutual fund software is created equal. Investors FastTrack data is far better. FastTrack is fully dividend-adjusted for all forms of distributions, dividends, capital gains, splits, etc. Flat periods are investigated. Abnormal patters are detected and corrected. FastTrack has  closing prices even when The Wall Street Journal has missed them. 

The distributions are listed within our database,  reported on the x-date, yields calculated. The listings include characterizations of income, long, short, splits, and other types.

Data quality Required

 FT4Web's relative strength strategies and momentum modeling ONLY work well when operating on quality mutual fund data. You will not find FT4Web features in TC-2000, MetaStock, and other mutual fund software. These other packages have to rely rely on market timing . . . whereas FastTrack offers fully diversified portfolio building.

The financial press largely ignores the momentum trading strategies for funds which FastTrack espouses. They can't duplicate FastTrack results using Morningstar® month-end data. This creates opportunity for FastTrackers to use powerful, largely unused trading strategies. 

Sourced from the Fund Companies Themselves

Most of our historical mutual fund data comes the fund companies themselves. We make editorial decisions regarding the continuity of the mutual fund data when mergers and renaming occurs.

 We receive our daily prices from the exchanges, Dow Jones, and exchange correction services. We run qualitative tests on the data and check directly with the fund companies when their pricing is missing or out of the expected range. We collect dividends directly from most fund companies.
